honda civic dx 1991
every time i get the throtle the car cuts off i dont think that anything is wrong under the hood but up under neath the car every time i give it gas something shakes under the car just before it cuts off

Something under the hood is wrong. The rattling sound you're hearing is most likely a heat shield vibrating when the engine bogs. Is your check engine light on? The more information you can provide, the better. You really haven't said much about the problem.
