hey i am getting a 2000 honda civic ex or lx idk which one yet but i think it comes with a d series engine and i believe its sohc non vtec are those werth putting performance parts on??? or should i jus do an engine swap?

the ex is sohc vtec, the lx is sohc non-vtec

 

you can upgrade the ex and get power, but you could spend less than $1500.00 on an ls (b18b) and get more power and way more torque
