Hi guys, there is someone selling a 5 zigen exaust. Is it any good? I have an exaust right now and it is way too loud. Are 5 zigen exaust also loud? I'd like to have a nice quiet exaust, but not stock.

 

FYI: it doesnt come out at the stock location

 

How's the sound though. Is it loud?

it comes out the passenger side, as opposed to the driver's side..not sure on volume..

 

Its pretty raspy sounding...similar to the N1 but not as loud. Any canister type is exhaust is going to be loud.

is this the one for the crx? or does the axel-back for the ED's come out on the passenger side also?

 

I had a 5zigen exhaust on my crx and I loved it, the sound was nice and deep and had a little rasp do to the cat being gutted, the sound on the outside of the car was like bass, you could feel the db's from pretty far. As for it exiting on the passenger side thats true but its a more straight through design. I would definatley recommed that exhaust for a crx, it just bad ***, period. I sold mine becuase im gonna be boosting and the 2.25 pipe would be to restrictive, but you can bet your bottom dollar that as soon as I build my new exhaust theirs gonna be a the same 5zigen that i had but its gonna be the turbo universal fireball.Oh yeah that pipe that runs across the back of the crx like on the Tannabe RM, just looks like hell compared to the 5zigen. A+++

 

Its got a nice tone to it, its a little raspy but it is fuggen loud. Especially when going 80 on the highway Im at 5k rpms, and I got crank my music up to be able to hear it

 

i like the 5 zigen it is loud but it sounds good coming down the road.. my buddy has it on hi car.

I had it on my crx with a test pipe, It was kind of loud but it sounded good.

 

ill get pics tommrow but it will be on a 92-95.
