Wheel bearings going out, rear
anybody have any tips, tools, suggestions for the replacement, should I do both or just one? Dealer around here wants about 90 for the hub assembly, I think Im going with the oem on this one.
I'd just change the side that is making the noise;
You are going to need a 32mm socket for the hub nut, and 10,12,14 wrenches Good phillips bit.
It's a gravy job !!
Remove the brake caliper and bracket, then the screws holding the rotor on, I favor an impact driver for those screws; pop off the center cap, and remove the 32mm nut.
There is a torque spec for the hub nut,[127 ftlbs I think??] but if you put it back to where it was by looking at the 'punch mark' you should be good to go.

id get some grease if i were you...make it a little easier to get out the next time..also I myself would go ahead areplace both..if one side is going out you the other side probably isnt to far from going out..go buy an impact driver..just a regular screw driver isnt going to take those screws out..trust me!.. very simple job though good luck
