Default so I just fell in love with my caR...again

yeah, my car is amazing. Just fixed the slave cylinder so I went out for a spirited test drive. I dont have one complaint about it right now, and I think thats the first time in a long *** time. Its got retarded power, buttery smooth handling even though it needs a minor alignment, amazing brakes, pin point shifts (even with worn 3rd/4th synchs...thank you synchromesh!) fixed all the little squeaks and rattles, its not even dirty right now and there is armor all on the tires it still needs a few minor things before Expo, but damn I could leave it like this and be totally happy with it.

anyone else feeling the ITR love today?

Isnt the redline at 8,500 or 8,600 on the type r can really take it to 9 k safely or do you have some kind of hondata reflash ?

I know just what you mean. Some days the transmisssion feels so smooth and it doesn't emit black soot. The whole car feels new.

I feel the exact opposite.
Every time I get happy / pleased with the car, I remember why I periodically want a DD.
I can't even drive to class or work without people messing with me... And it is not only street racers now; random people in any kind of car yelling and doing stupid stuff in front of me, then throwing on their flashers...

This week, I don't want anything to do with my car

We can not reflash our ECU like K series ECUs. And even if it was possible, software never makes something mechanically by limited safe.

The Type DX is dirty, trashy on the inside, needs an alignment, needs tires, brakes are squeaking with plenty of pad left, shifter forks are bent, CMC is on the way out I think. Other than that its all good.

Will, the car is equipped with a hondata!

I only seldom to take it to 9k, usually shift @ 86-700. I have heard mixed reviews of it being safe, and some people shudder. hehe, its all good. runs like a champ.

Yeah - I've done the same with my car.

Retarded fast for a little 4 banger.
