My 97 civic ex is only throwing code 22 when i floor all the way to fourth gear. When i shift into fourth gear, the code appear. It will not appear on 1-3 gear only 4th gear. The other day i took out the vtec solenoid and clean it. What can i do to solve this problem? Do I have to buy another vtec solenoid?

 

i know its stupid but make sure the oil is full before you go buy parts
