when do i need to get my ecu chiped and car tuned?
so i just finishes my swap its running nice and throwing NO codes.
i was just wondering when i need to get my ecu chipped and tuned
im running and gsr block with a b16 head. and the head has skunk 2 stage 1 cams and is milled .020"

o and every thing is brand new and rebuilt crank, pistons, rings oil pump, bearings. ect.

if the rings dont seat within the first few minutes of the engine running they never will correctly.
find a tuner and talk with them

All depends on what else you're planning to do and how soon. If you plan on throwing some more parts on there in the next few months then I'd wait. Different parts can change your tune.
if you're going FI I'd wait and spend the money on FI first. Say you spend the money on tuning now then you go FI in 6 months-the money spent on tuning NA is pretty much gone except for the parts. You'll need to retune.

You are using aftermarket cams and a different head on a GSR block with a single slam ECU.
As doood said, it's either broke in by the time it's warm or it isn't going to. Tune the car now before you hurt the thing running it like that.
