insurance card says LX not SI
i called my insurance company today because my card says i have an LX, but i realy have an SI. the vin # is correct on the card. She said the only SI listing they have is a hatchback, no coupe or sedan. she threw the si hatchback in there just to see and it jumped up 300 bucks every 6 months. i had her put it back to the proper vin#.
Anyway i was woundering if my insurance company is retarded or if others have this mix up as well. I go through nationwide

wow. that is ridiculous. any speeding tickets etc? I live in seattle too, the insurance prices are ridiculous. my cousin only pays like $400 6 months on his gsr but thats not full coverage.
honestly
its a catch 22
if you tell them about the error again and press the issue... your shelling out more $
BUT
if you DONT and your car gets robbed... you could be out the money....
It sounds like someone at honda dropped the ball
when a car comes off the assembly line it is assigned a VIN, it seems that whoever inputs that from HONDA... incorrectly fed it on the "birth certificate" of the car and now when your INS pops it in.. boom LX

no tickets no accidents. its just pricey out here. well as long as i didnt screw anything up, its not my fault and honda will will pay for any loss, or the gap will.

yeah maybe i'll try again. it jumped to 350 with the 2 cars monthly, if they put the SI tag on it. i've learned you get a better deal by going to..........say esurance, and buying another companys policy through them. Travelers had hella low when i was lookin to switch befor i got the SI. Needles to say i didnt do it though
not only the rate is high
if you meet an accident, that insurance company will not pay you because the insurance card is incorrect. i just learned that from my business class. make sure they corret it for you, as soon as possible.

watch how fast that doubles when you get a ticket or in your first accident. my insurance wasnt too bad when i was 18, then two tickets later it was double, two more tickets later it was 4100/year on a brand new spec-v. now almost 22 i pay 2900/year for my 06 Si and 02 Gr Cherokee. And in august two more points are coming off when my policy is renewed.
