need some help with the tires......
My brother gave me a really nice 18 inch rims for free for my 94 accord. The two rims were with only two tires they were 215/35r18 directional tires. but the two other rims didn't have any tires. So i didn't really wanted to spend allot of money to buy new good tires so some guy at the shop sold me 215/45r18 for cheap but they are not directional tires. I don't know if u can have two different tires on a car but now i have couple of problems. i had my bigger tires on the back and the smaller directional tires on the front. after that my car was pulling to the side so then i called the shop and they said to put the bigger tires on the front so now my car kinda drives ok but it vibrates like crazy on freeway when going 60 mph. what should i do i cant return those bigger tires. I didn't really know anything about tires and stuff. before that my car was on 15 inch donuts wheels with perfect alignment. but now my car drives really weird and vibrates when going 60 mph.
sounds like they just mounted a tire without balancing it. Unless they did balance and you had a vibration when you were on your 15's. If you did not have any vibrations it could be: 1. Wheels are bent 2. No balance. Try balancing your tires first and ask the tech or whoever balances your wheels and tires ask them to check if the wheels are bent. You would be able to see if the wheels are bent when the wheels spin on the balancer you would notice a slight to major wobble as the wheel spins on the side
