I am putting a GSR block in my Civic and was wondering if I just use the water pipe that goes across the back of the block for now and don't hook up the water lines to the oil cooler, will I have any problems? I can't find the GSR water pipe and my B16 pipe doesn't have anyplace to connect the lines that go to the oil cooler. Thanks.
remove the oil cooler from the back of the block and just put the oil filter in the normal place under the cooler. if you have the metal pipe without the extra holes (the b16 i guess) then you should have no problems. just make sure you have a hose on every spot on the pipe.

The line off the TB is to small. Why can't I just keep the oil cooler on but not connect any hoses to them. I know I sound like a real noob, I just don't have much expierance with the B18c. I have build a couple B16s and as blocks.
I say you'd be fine just leaving it on with no lines connected to it. It's not going to hurt anything, just not work as a cooler is all.
