Hey everybody. It's about to be summer, and its time to make the big decision. which spring/shocks to go with. I've been looking around for quite a while, and have been looking at various spring/shock combos, until yesterday, when i read about hayame coilovers. Now, the decision is even harder to make, seeing as how these coilovers are only $650 shipped. Ive read some reviews and they seem great. They even use Koni shocks.

So my questions are: does anybody here have the hayame coilovers? if so, how do you like them? If you guys suggest against them, what should i go with instead? im looking to spend around $600 - $700 total.

Never heard of them, Majority of people with that range go Ground Controls + Koni Yellows which came out to be a little below 1000 for me. I use them and love them

 

How is the ride with that setup?

oh, and i just found out that the hayame's are discontinued anyway

 

I DD with it and think it's fine, I don't bounce the living crap outta the car when I hit a bump. Obviously not as forgiving as stock though. You can get custom spring rates too

 

My other options were Illuminas with Eibach Sportlines. What do you guys think of that combination?

I've never played around with those Illuminas so I can't tell ya.
