questions about exhaust rattle...if anyone wants to tackle it....
ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME PLEASE...
i just installed a GReddy evo 2 catback exhaust on my 2006 accord coupe. it sound amazing but alot of time when im ideling at stop light or accel slowly, it rattles extremely loud. the problem only happens when im in drive or reverse, not while reving. when i got it up on a lift, it looked like the resonator was not sitting properly and was to close to the frame on the left(so as a temp fix i got a giant hose clamp an secured it to a piece of the frame on the right side of the car...
Im all outta ideas...PLEASe! its driving me nuts!

Have you tried loosening some of the clamps, re-aligning the exhaust slightly, then tightening it down again?
For some vibrations, some people had to resort to bending the hangers on their cars.

i have tried it but it was a bolt on aftermarket system so theres not much give. I just dont want to resort to going to a muffler shop and having to pay them to bend it n mount new hangers...
My first exhaust had no problems at all, it was a custom one. The second which was also custom 3", whenever I let the clutch in during first gear to idle around parking lots it will rattle, but besides thats its fine.
Check the heatshield on the cat, the plating that is around the midpipe, and the hangers to see if you put all of them on.
Those could all be rattles.
Edit, btw, do you have a DC header? If you do, it could be one of the problems, as the flex pipe will crack and cause that annoying sound.

i do have a DC header, but i just had it up yestarday n found that the hanger right before the muffler...it longer then the stock hanger was and its vibrating against the frame...u think i could just cut it a little?
