Default Noob Swap Question

I have a 91 standard all stock hatch right now...I can get a free D16A6 motor with about 60,000 miles on it.

How hard of a swap will this be? Will it just hook right up with the old mounts? What all is needed?

I'm new to the whole "honda scene"

Thanks for any info...I am mechanically inclined to a point, I just have never done a motor swap.....Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Thanks again,
-Dennis

if you are already MPFI then just drop in the A6, in not the drop the motor in and then do the conversion while your swapping the motor. its not hard. \\good luck!

Yeah, it is MPFI. So this is a fairly easy swap?

I know it isn't that much of an upgrade from the D15, but it has way less miles and a bit more HP.

bolt right up yes but you will still have to do the wiring to convert to mpfi add some wiring which isn't too hard but can be challenging check the FAQs.
