Return it and get an O2 sensor that already has a connector attached...like a Denso Direc-Fit.

sounds like a bosch unit to me...
be ready for that pos to die within a month

cant really tell you what colors do what, but the 2 greys probably equate to blacks, white is green and black is blue
(or something that ridiculous)
You didnt get a sheet with it saying which wire does what?

bosch is a mistake, i would take a used oem out of a junk yard before i would use bosch.

I couldn't tell you what the wire colors are for on the O2 sensor you have...considering you didn't include who made it anywhere in this thread. So that'll be your job.

On a stock O2 though, the two blacks are for the heater, the green is signal ground and white is signal.

EDIT: Oh...is it a Bosch? I'll look for your 'Code 1, 41, or 43' thread here shortly. Seriously, universal sensors, let alone Bosch's, are complete junk for Honda's. They respond waaay to slow.

Yes sir. It's there to get the O2 up to 600*F so that it starts outputting a signal. If you ever get a Code 41 (or 65 for the rear sensor), unplug the O2 and measure between the two blacks: 15-40 ohms is spec.

so I checked it today and I have a black, a gray, and 2 whites.

Pretty sure the 2 whites are the heater wires, and the black/gray are the signal wires.

Any idea which of these go to which color on the harness side? And how do I tell which white wire is positive, and which is negative?

thanks a TON guys.

On an OEM plug:

Green is signal ground
White is signal

The two blacks are for the heater. The black at Pin 3 goes to a switched voltage source and the one at Pin 4 goes to the ECU heater control.

You should get a Helms.
