Car needs a paint job, Any recommendations in SoCal?
Yeah MOBworks does some pretty good work. I did a full detail on a car painted by MOB and I found that the clear coat they use is unusually finicky. But the work they do is quite acceptable. and this is coming from a detailer
I was going to take my car to MOB until I've heard some messed up stories about them.... I hear a lot about how they lay the clear on really thin so it chips really easily.
The thing that turned me off was hearing how a guy paid like $4900 for a full color changed and they painted right over the oem pinstripe and refused to fix the shady work.

I am also looking for someone in So Cal, Orange County (Anaheim/Fullerton areas) to do some body/paint work. I currently have some minor front end damage that i believe will require a new rad support. I can locate a used front end, but would require someone to prep(fix dings/dents and sand/primer) and paint. If anyone knows any good shops it would be much appreciated. Thank you
Edit: Looking to paint it the original black color or a satin black if a shop is capable. Its a 95 civic.
