i just purchased some foglights and i need some advice on how to install them, thanks

 

there are markings on the back of your bumper where you cut with a dremel tool or a utility knife. then assemble the brackets with the housing and the screws into the tabs that hold on the foglight

 

Where did you buy them from? Ebay? ALso check with EPhatch.com and search for fog light install...They have it there...

 

if you go to a dealer they can print you off some infor for you.

Or, you can also go to http://www.handaaccessories.com/civicsi.html and check out the PDF of the factory foglight installation instructions.

However, if you're going to be doing your own wiring, those instructions won't help with that part. The OEM foglights come with wiring harnesses & plugs that add into the car's main harness. But, at least you'll get an idea of where to route your wires and how to remove the bumper and other panels.
