I jacked my car up the other day, to put in a by pass valve for the intake, and after i was done working on it, i jacked it back down, goto close the hood and it won't. It will lock down on the first lock but not the second one that seals it up tight. I took it to Honda dealership and they couldn't fix it. They said something was bent and that is not covered under my warrenty since it is body work. i was wondering if there was anything i could do, before i take it to a body shop and pay like 200 or 300$$. any advice is appericated. thanks

you probably jacked up the car on the radiator support, you're going to have to bend it back down.

 

i have adjusted the latch all the way in both directions and it still dont work. i took a piece of wood and a hammer and beat alot of places wear it looked bent. still dont work. not sure at all what to do.
