Default tint

I tried searching for tint in the forums, anyone know a good type of tint to use, I've heard moleskin around other forums but the only good place around me doesn't have it.

I did some research on tinting and from what I found is a good, reputable tinting shop is going to have good tinting film. You could ask 3 different professional tinters and get 3 different answers on what the best tint is... so basically just go with a quality tint place and get a package that includes a lifetime warranty (most places offer this), and you should be fine.

Well if you go to the Tinter's Forum online where Professional tinters talk about tinting and share trade skills I remember alot of praise for Llumar Brand High Performance Tint is really good.

Any recommended Tint shops in SoCal? Near Torrance would be great.

For any of you that have gotten tinted windows on your Fit, how much did it cost?

Thanks.

Yeah I had just the rear glass done, Formula One brand pretty good job, and lifetime warranty. Worth $60, curved window is harder to do yourself. I chose Limo black, the darkest. I wanted total privacy from the drivers who pull up behind, especially cops, with those dam floodlights they turn on you. Well, after the tint was on, I could still see in, turns out the side windows have to be dark to get the desired limo privacy effect. So I may do the rear sides (4) myself with the film at the stores or I may just cut a nice piece of black art board and cut to fit the rear and clip it in there when I'm cruising.
