I want hks exhaust system for my 97 prelude but they dont make it for the prelude. So i was wondering if i can order the 3in verson of da HKS-TI universal muffler n have a show do all the custom piping for a 2.5" all the way back to the and then convert to the 3" where the muffler is. Would this hurt my performance.( I don't really like the NA version of the TI looks to small.

 

I had the turbo version of the HKS Hi Power on my old H22 Civic hatch. It was the 3" inlet, and initially I made a custom 2.5" catback with a 2.5-3" flare at the muffler.

I then later went to a 3" system all the way back. Both sizes sound AWESOME with an H22 and an inline resonator.
