I'm thinking about purchasing a polyurethane lip for 99-00 Civic (told it will fit 01-05).

How well will it fit the EM2 body-style? Stretching? Anybody done it?

Also, I've been looking around for Mugen style lips and can't help but notice that many have 'bumps' underneath the holes, on both sides :

Are there any mugen tyle lips that are flat across and don't have these bumps underneath? They kind of make it look like a type-R lip from the front.

 

nope those are the only mugen lips they have for our EM2 models...

 

they make mugen lips for the 01-03, for the 04-05 they must be stretched...

i had a 99-00 urethene type r lip...

 

The only lips for 01-03 I've seen are made from ABS plastic which cracks, haven't had any luck locating a decently priced (eBay) urethane mugen lip.

 

your right they dont make many urethene lips period...

just gotta keep looking it will pop up...

And will a rear lip designed for 04-05 fit 01-03? I don't see why not...

no, the 99-00 lips fit the 04-05 bumpers with stretching. they already have lips for 01-03. only rear lip made for the 04-05 lip is the kam. lip and the hfp

 

any one no a good site to find lips

 

if it can stretch to fit an 04/05 then it will definately fit an 01-03 cause the 04/05 is wider and flared at the sides...

 

Yea, but the spacing in between the fog lights is wider on 04-05, and if u look at 99-00 lips the mounting tab on top looks just as wide. 01-03 cars have a skinnier space in between the fogs, so I am assuming the mounting tab on the lip would have to be trimmed?
