ok guys im runnin a jdm dohc f22b i have a check engine light that comes on when i either hit 4000 rpm or highway speeds whichever comes first and i had the light read it comes up code number 22 but here is the thing im runnin an h23a1 ecu which is non vtec why am i gettin a chenge engine light for vtec and when the light comes on gas smells rich but once i shut the car off the light goes away before i thought it was the O2 sensor so i replaced it it showed all the symptoms but now that ive replaced it the light is still oni need help

 

also forgot to mention sparatic idle, and decfrease in gas mileage.
