alternator help plz

Default alternator help plz

so my battery light came on yesterday while i was driving and it turns off once i get over 3k rpm so i'm pretty sure that the stock alternator on my 91 hatch has or is taking a monsterous **** on me and i was wondering if any d series alternator will fit on my d16a6. i just wanna be sure i don't waste my time and money.

I am pretty sure that they will. However if you get a new one from any parts place make them test it before you walk out the door. I know myself and others have gotten junk ones right out of the box. Makes me very angry.

anyone from 88-95 will work because obd-0 and obd-1 have the same alternator plug

One thing you have to look out for is the name brand of the alternator.. Like if its a Denso or what ever.. try to match it out because sometimes the pully is different or the plug is...

I doubt either are different, theres only 1 part number for the belt. The different brands applies to the a/c compressor. Denso/Mitsuba or something close

Next time the lights on , wack it with a crow bar, if the light goes out go pick up some brushes. They're like $10.
