Default can EJ6 EFI fit in a VTEC engine?

i have an Civic EJ6 year 96 and i m considering to upgrade the engine. i m looking for something more powerful than an EFI engine... can any one give me advice on this matter. ur help is much appreciated!!!

It's hard to express to you how much it matters for you to do the research yourself. it's your car man. Your motor choise whether you boost the one you have or swap in something better is all going to depend on your mechanic skill, budget, preference, and need for reliability at the least.

totally agree with ek forever guy's comment, i mean asking us what motor us should run is like asking us what you want to eat. its all about what you want. there are like a ******* 100000000 of this threads, so just search and read up on some of those, it'll help for sure. they even have some that compare all the motors strengths and weaknesses together.
