Default Hood protection

Is there anything available to put over top of my hood to protect it from rocks on a long drive? Some kind of mask for the hood? I don't want my beautiful NBP hood (freshly painted) to get screwed up agian. Thanks guys.

pour some beeswax on it (cover it smoothly over)

that will save your hood from chips

Here's something you might consider if it fits the budget.

Yup, just wax often and pray for the best. Front ends a wear item, if you don't get rock-chips, then that means you're not going fast enough. (Just set aside a spare front end. hehe.)

Mine has a chip in it, but in a years time, it hasn't rusted. Is the hood hade out of aluminum or something?
