2000 PY #0001 on ebay?
Link here.
I was skeptical at first, but the serial number of the VIN does match the first serial number found in andyt's research as found in the "How many ITRs were sold in USA" sticky up top. I've emailed the seller for a pic of the badge. That'd be a neat R for someone to pick up

Hence the "?" in the title, and request to the seller for a pic. True, there isn't a straight line perfect correlation of VINs to badges. However there is a general correlation. I'd bet this serial numbered R had a pretty low badge #, if not 0001. We shall see...

I seem to remember a thread way back that a guy posted had #001 and was in NYC, and was PY too. Its probably legit.
Also, that is a low VIN #, so while no its not absolute, *generally* lower VINed cars will have lower ITR numbers.

Stupid question, but can't you go order a badge from Acura and have it engraved to be #0001?
I remember reading several years ago of a kid who got a #0001 (I think it was a 2001 but this was 6 years ago when I read it)...his father owned one of the largest Acura dealers.
