hey everyone. i was plannin on painting the grey leather part on my door panel black. but i wanted to know if i needed primer and what kind of paint to use and what brand. so what ever help u guys can give me just let me know.

i think if your using that vinyl/interior spray, i dont think you need primer. i would get one of those scuff pads to open up the leather a little to accept the paint some more

 

this is all on my 97 civic dx. what kind of scuff pads are you talking bout? where can i purchase it at?

 

not sure but is there any way that you can pull that piece off and just get some black "pleather" and a local shop and re do it yourself...it might look a lot better then painting it...
