ok , so i just took delivery of my 07 si , car far exceeded my expectations, and once i mod the **** out of it (plans for a turbo) it will decimate ........

but i must say , i have owned german my whole life and have never experienced vtec .....


your first time is pretty amazing.....it made me smile.....

im offically hooked and converted to the religion that is vtec!!!!!!

What color is it? And is it a 2 dr or 4 dr? Oh and how much did you pay? Just curious....

 

Where's the fire,you should wait a bit before hittin da m4d vtak. But it does feel good hitting the v-tec every now and then.

 

Congrats, they are fun cars, and from the few kits floating around the turbo upgrades yeild awsome results.

Theres so many people who say theyll never get a honda, but once they drive something other than a civic dx and get into something good, like the SI....... its all over. Honda is the car you want. enjoy the VTEC. Youll find yourself rolling up to any car you can at 5500 hundred RPMS, cocked n locked, ready to stomp..... dont get into trouble. ive paid over 6 grand in tickets and lost my licence twice since my first honda.

Good luck fitting a turbo kit on that thing. There's like no room. The motor sit's right under the firewall.

Nice car though. I plan I buying one next month.

Umm I dunno where u have been but there is plenty of room for a turbo kit on the new si.

 

Yea great, I also heard that when you run turbo kits on the 2002-2007 Si's that they melt the interior of your car, beacuse they run to hot.

I say keep it safe and put a JR supercharger on.

the motor sits under the windshield.. the firwall is behind the motor, as required by law....

That doesn't even make sense.. the firewall is there to keep from melting the interior during a fire in the engine compartment.. don't you think it would work the same way for heat from the turbo???

Link me where you read that? I sit on forums all day and have NEVER in my life heard of that.

and i bet a JR SC will be safe...considering they aren't out yet.

we have meets all the time.

 

I worked at a honda dealer and a guy came in with a 2004 Si turboed and the parts of the dash and the shifter colum were melted.

I also heard of a 2002 Si that had the same thing happen to it.
