Default Dealer F'ed My car up! Long... (56k warning)

(Keep in mind I was a salesperson here for about a year and recently left) So I dropped my car off about 2 weeks ago to have them diagnose my 3rd gear, alignment, and front suspension noises. They told me they ordered a 3rd gear synchro and tranny fluid, and i would have to bring my car back when the parts got there, and just do the alignment then. Ok so far decent. I dropped it off last night after our weekly Sopranos and Entourage gathering to get this all fixed, yay! NO. I called them around 230 to check progress, they said come on down after 430 and it will be ready. Get a ride over there, chit chat with everyone for about a half hour, get my key, and drive home. (I was in a rush at that point)

Getting in the car I noticed the side panel wasnt snapped on correctly. On the way driving home, I notice that my transmission is NOT any better, and now 4th gear is horrible. So i figure maybe the fluid needs to works its way around and the synchro may need to be broken in (i dunno?). Pull halfway into my garage and popped my hood (my intake sounded like it may have had a leak) Well it all went downhill from there.....

First thing I see is my power wire for my amp is on the wrong way, wayyyy to over tightened, the red cover not covering it, and the hood prop pushing up against the red cover.
Next a loose (not tooooo loose) vaccuum hose on the intake
I look up and the plastic cover (dunno what its called) at the top of the hoodline is missing 2 of its plastic pops, and the head to another is snapped in half, along with the fact it is not on correctly. added to that is scratches and pry marks from a flat head to pop it off.
I look down to the top of the tranny and see gouges, not just scratches, along all sorts of places. then some liquid catches my eye....
I grab the floor jack and put the car in the air, when i almost threw up.... Tranny fluid ALL over the place. Livid at this point.
Took a walk around the car, and found a 4" scratch next to my driver door handle. I get back to the front and see some surface scuffs on the bumper. I take a little closer of a look and see some little pits and tiny surface dents that did not remove any paint (cant capture them with my camera) now my license plate also has some dents in it. I lower my searches to the bottom of my bumper and HOLY **** AM I PISSED. BOTH i repeat BOTH of my fog lights are cracked side to side right down the middle of them. one straight crack all the way across.
The tech HAD to have pulled up too far on another car in the service lane or too far up in his bay, only thing i can think of to damage the bumper the way it did and crack both fog lights the same way. The scratch on the door is purely being careless. Under the hood was being 90% lazy. And the fluid everywhere is pure stupidity. I also thought that specific tech was sketchy when i worked there, now i think hes a pure *******.
It was too late by the time I saw this all the whole service dept was gone. I spoke to my old GM and he said I need to talk to the service manager first, and if not resolved then to get back to him. So first thing I do tomorrow is making a nice little phone call and bringing my *** back there. Any good suggestions ha? The prob is I know everyone there so they prob wont treat me like a normal irate customer. Oh well we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Heres some pics

Damn bro that sucks. Rush or not everytime i leave a Stealership i check my car inside and out. Cant trust no one. Then your car, intake, speakers, plate, amp wire. Man oh man i would be pissed. Ill go back and show them what they have done and go crazy man. Thats messed up. Ill even ask to speak to the GM. Man all that money you spent on your car and then this is how they show of "good quality service." Not on my watch. Good luck homie...

yeah i guess since i worked there for a year and knew everyone i thuoght i could trust them. if i went to a diff place i prob would have checked it out.

and i think i forgot to mention in all the rants, they put the OLD transmission fluid it, ending in 9016, not the new 9031. when i asked about it the service tech told me that the parts dept said honda would not ship them the new stuff when they asked. I am going to go to a different honda dealer (which is closer to my house, being 3 miles away) and buy a quart before i head over to the shitership to prove my argument. if all is not solved in a VERY timely and easy fashion, the Honda and the BBB will get a call, no presidents award for them prob. I dont want to do this simply because I did work there and have plenty of respect for most of the people. we'll see tomorrow.....

Yeah I would raise hell too, but if you expect them to fix all of that, they are gonna want your car for AT LEAST a day. And then who knows what else they'll mess up too...

I don't trust ANYONE with my car due to all of the bad experiences I've had as well.

what dealer was this...man i feel bad for you. If it makes you feel any better last time i took my car in, they washed it...and i had to polish out about 30 fine white scratches all around the paint.

Dealerships could give a $hit about your car. I will never take mine to another...just deal with the little imperfections.

it was at Curry Honda in Chicopee, Ma.

There are about 11 or more other Curry's in the Westchester NY area, about every manufacturer including another Honda and Acura. I have met Mr. Curry (Bernard F. Curry III) on a few occasions and I know he would not tolerate this at any of his dealerships EVER. Im off to make my excursions of the day. Ill keep you guys posted

Man i'd be pissed of with that. i personally dont trust dealerships so i went to friends who owned their own shops or i did the work myself (i used to own a 97' Volvo 850 t-5, that had more problems than a crackhead who just robbed a bank) Sorry about your problem good luck with giving them hell.

So I just got back from the dealership. As I have stated before a few times I did work there and I do know most everyone still there. I held my cool (if I didnt know them I prob would have gone in blazing right off the bat). I set an appt with the service manager so he was expecting me. I showed him everything wrong with the car, and simply stated to him that I dont know how to run a dealership but I have grown up around a family business that employs over 300 people, so I know about treating workers and customers the right way. He was VERY understanding and cooperative. He took my key, drove it into the bay, put it up on the lift, tore out the tech, and made him clean all the brake fluid. They replaced the missing and broken snaps as well. They ordered me a new set of fog lights that will be there thursday for them to put in (with their 12 year master tech). He also said they will do me an alignment and a wash and detail when its there to rid any scratches, from them or me.
So overall I was very satisfied with the way he handled it all, and EVERYTHING is resolved or to be resolved on thursday. Talking to a couple old co-workers and playing outside in an s2000 helped keep me calm too lol.
All I have to do now is take off and re install my intake, it sounds like it is still leaking, and put my new battery terminal clamp that I bought a couple weeks ago and never put on. Now I have a reason to and it cleans up the wires from stock and the system. In a much better mood today!
Thanks everyone and Mike (type-x) for your help. I did not call the number you gave me, as I was giving the dealer a chance to correct themselves. But I will save it, because if anything EVER happens again, there will be a phone call that will be made immediatly.

Forgot to add in, I bought two quarts of the NEW transmission fluid (5.63/qt) from another Honda Dealer on the way, and they did switch it out right away when they put the car up on the lift. And MAN does it make an awesome difference. I had a blast driving home

That is awesome to hear man.

Glad you were able to take care of it there, rather than having it blow up and become even more of a problem. That always speaks volumes of the service manager, and of you, the client.

I hope to hell the service tech gets a verbal and written lashing for this.

tech def got a verbal lashing, i witnessed part of it from about 100 feet away. I was really hoping that they would handle it there, due to the fact i dont really have the patience to go through a million things to get my car back to how it was before it was serviced. And thankfully it did work out that way. Just a waste of a few hours out of my day.
