Ok this is stupid but I ordered my springs and went to lower the rear first...
where is the top of the damper? I'm used to tegs and civics where the spring is in the trunk. The top is not in the trunk and if its anywhere else I'm not sure on how to find it. I did a search also, so please send some help without hating and all that.
thanks

It is in the trunk. Where else can it be? Remove the inner-lining. Remove the spare tire. Unbolt the fuel lines on your left. You need to push in a bit to access the bolts to the tophat.

woah-we-wow-wee (borat quote). You dont need to unbolt the fuel line. Just get a socket on there and THEN put the ratchet on there. That's how i got mine. You do have to take out the trunkliner and the spare tire that covers all that up, though. It should be easy. Follow the shock underneath the car till it hits the shock tower....go back up top and thats where the bolts are. easy as pie. Getting to the bolts is kind of a chore...on the driver's side.
it helps to remove the 10mm bolt to the bracket that secures the fuel lines in place to give some more wiggle room.
loosen it with the ratchet and stick your hands in there and use your fingers if you can. that way you dont drop the nut inside the crevice.
its definately not impossible to reach, but seriously, i cannot imagine a more hard to reach setup than this....
