hey everyone. i'm a new member but i always go on this forum. so anyways i got a k20 and i was just wondering about how long it took for u guys to do the whole swap. thanks.

p.s. how long do i have to wait til i can post in the appearance/cosmetic forum? i know i'm a noob.

 

You can post everywhere when you're not in trail mode anymore. Usually takes a few days.

The k20? A lot of people have them done at shops because of all the fabrication needed to get them in.

It's a bitch.

 

It could take anywhere from a day to 3 years. Getting the motor is the easiest part. If your doing it yourself just take your time and dont rush it (since your asking how long it would take, its safe to say this is your first swap)

 

Extensive wiring/fabrication and custom parts are needed to get it to work.

For the ridiculousness of the k20 swap I'd rather go h2b turbo for half the cost.
