Default Help: Choosing an intake for a CRX

Looking for some advice on intakes for my CRX. It's GSR swapped but it shouldnt play too much of a difference. From what i can see its either AEM, Weapon R, or ebay brands... The only good part about AEM is they make a kit specifically made for a GSR'd CRX... any opinion from the people here? anyone know of other intakes?

^^ That is really the best and cheapest option you have. There are a couple of companies that make hybrid intakes but they were $$ last time I checked.

you have the stock gsr intake manifold? if so you need to do some creative work to any ebay intake to get it to dip down...unless you relocate or remove the battery and order a 94 gsr intake?

Save your $.
DIY intake.
Remove resonatore from behind bumper, stock airbox, K&N filter, done.
Same performance +/- for waaaayyy less.

its got a bodykit, battery is in the trunk, stock GSR IM, but it will be aftermarket shortly. There is a decent amount of space in there... right now im compairing between the whale ***** c/f and the aem hybrid. Currently i have a ebay short ram....not really a fan of it, id prefer soemthign that is farther from the motor after reading some numbers...

WOW! SERIOUSLY! its a ******* intake tube man! if u want to do the best thing 2 get the coldest air, go outside of the fender, but make sure u do the "air box" thing...so u dont suck water in ur motor...

^thats a bad time...

does anyone else agree about the stock air box trick?
