MPG at diff RPMs
looking for some educated guesses.
say you shifted only at 3500 RPM, tested your MPG
and then shifted only at 4400 RPM and again tested your MPG
what would you guess the difference in MPG would be if any ?

if u shift at 4400 u'll waste more gas cuz the motor revs higher... some stat said that every 10 miles per hour u drive over the speed limit is an extra 10 cents u put into your tank.. and i kno that no relation to this topic lol
The lower the RPM, the lower the fuel consumption isnt always 100% true. If you shift real early, you are putting additional strain on the engine because its working harder to accelerate the car in a taller gear, making the engine suck in more fuel. Its like driving up a hill.
I dont know if there would be too much of a difference between ~3500 and ~4500 rpm, because that is the start of the peak of our powerbands, but between say, 2500 and 3500 there will be a difference. How much, I have no idea.
