Is this your first bike? Just wondering because I plan on getting one soon. I'm pretty set on a 250 or a 500 ninja for my first bike but once I grow out of it the zx-6r is going to be the next step up.

friend has a 250 ninja, it's slowwwwwww - good for a beginner bike but you outgrow it fast! a gsx-r 600 IMO is a good beginner bike, just be safe.

^my friend with the ninja 250 is 5ft 3-4" he sits fine on the ninja, he can't reach the floor on the gsxr 600. but you can lower it a bit so you can touch the floor, shouldn't be too bad.
