Cracking tires?
A few years ago, I bought some Nokian Hakkapeliitta "all season" tires used from a buddy of mine (they were great in the snow back in Wisconsin), and I got a great deal on them.
Now, I'm noticing there is some minor cracking on the sidewall and on the tread. Looks like they've dried out, etc. I think they were fairly old when I bought them.
Is this someting that warrants buying new tires, or is this just a cosmetic thing? I'd guess it means they're breaking down, and new tires are in my future.
Thoughts?

They need to be replaced as soon as possible! If there are signs of cracking then they are finished! I would not run on them for long as they might blow up!

Yeah, I guess cracking tires = bad.
I'll replace them.
