Default 97 Honda Accord Coupe wont crank wait 15 /20 then does crank Help?

My daughter has a 97 Honda Accord Coupe.Automatic. She can get in it and it cranks right up.She gets to work cuts it off then it wont crank just spins. She waits 15 or 20 minutes then it will crank. This may sound weird but if it hot outside and been sitting it may not crank until the weather cools off.Can anyone help me?

From what you described, the problem with the car is the MAIN RELAY. There are solder joints inside the main relay that will crack, causing intermittent no starts.

It's located under the driver's steering column area, Honda part #: 39400-SV4-003. It's a gray looking rectangular "box" with wires going into the bottom, on the relay itself, it'll say RELAY ***'Y, MAIN with the number: RZ-0088 on it.

When you say it won't crank, just spins, do you mean the starter is spinning, but the engine is not? If so, it is probaly the starter, not the relay.
