Maybe it's just the angle or something but it looks like you missed a fairly substantial dent below the gas lid.

buddy that paint was ruined LONG before i got the car in my possetion

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by ALL_MOTOR_FKR &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">what grit sand paper? did you thin down the paint,and did you buff after?</TD></TR></TABLE>

before i painted i went with 400 grit then primered then i dont remember what grit i used to sand the primer prob like 600 or somethign

then i layed down like 7 -8 coats of paint then sanded with 1000 to get most of the orange peel off then finished with 1500

yeah i thinned down the paint with mineral spirits to like a milky consistancy ,

i buffed the body and driver door with compound to get the scratches from the 1500 grit out

didnt polish yet imma wait till i get everything painted and onthe car

Looks good!

Are you gona rock it panda style or are you not finished?

What aircompressor did you use and did it supply enough CFM? I was thinking about doing the same thing my to eg (real guns and air compressor) but I couldn't justify the price. Also why did you prime the whole car? Correct me if I'm wrong but the point of using Rustoleum so no need for prime or clear. Sorry if this sounded negitave just trying to learn.

Props

craftsman 6HP 33 GAL tank 150 MAX PSI

its 8.6 SCFM @ 40 PSI
and 10.4 SCFM @ 20 PSI

somethign like that

and it was kinda enough i had to wait a couple times to wait it to fill up

but the fenders are fiberglass and cracked so untill i find new OEM fenders im going to keep them flat black !

but they only thing thats going to be black is the hood when im done

this is going to be an ongoing project not just what it is today

also i primed it bc i wanted to i know you dont NEED to with rustoleum but i wanted to practice the right way to do **** so i get the feel for when i do my next project
