Default quick question

I have an EJ8, stock (D16Y8) auto tranny, and i want a manual... i found a 96 DX hatch that's a manual and it's stock... now if i buy the hatch, can i take the cylinder head off the EJ8 and bolt it straight on to the DX's engine block? and if that worked would i have any problems with the transmission?

You'll need a manual Y8 ecu and complete intake manifold.

by complete intake manifold do you mean that i need to buy a new one off a manual y8 or can i just use the one on my ej8?

I mean you need a new one, because the sensors are different for auto and manual.
