Default Almost done with my Rice Restoration Project!

I'm almost done with my restoration project i've been working on. I got this thing as a pile of crap with a decent body. I've been working with Chris @ Color Tech who has done a ton of paint work for me (THANK YOU), Gil @ Circuit Hero for the sick products i gladly showcase on the coupe, and Whip Factory for helping to get everything to my liking. I just need to tweak my brake setup a little bit, source a rear sway bar, and i'm ready for the track I also have a lip i'm going to modify on the way, the front end looks kinda funny without one!

Here's what it looked like when i got it. I dont have pics of the interior, but the interior was pretty beat up too, that's all been fixed and cleaned up now.

and after a couple weeks of owning it...

I'd say it's coming along quite nicely

Let me know what you think.

Ricky

No it wasn't. It had some stupid tails on a stock car. You just cleaned it up a bit and added some wheels/lowered. Looks better tho, nonetheless.

I see mirrors on there.

Why the tow hooks? Unless they're used frequently...then wouldn't something extraneous be considered "rice"?

That's no resto buddy lol. But ya you cleaned it up a bit, looks better than it did. But dont think that's remotely near what any form restoration is. Paint looks mint, did you buff it.

sheeesh. i swear you guys are thread title *****.

yeah, i've waxed the car by hand twice, and my buddy chris has touched up a LOT of imperfections. I'm going to be doing a complete buff this weekend to really clean up the paint

i also just picked up a Kevlar seat, hopefully it'll be in the car tomorrow
