Greddy Turbo Kit Dyno Results!!!
I figured I'd post a link here for all my honda-tech brothers. Been running the Greddy Turbo kit for about a month. No real issues at all. Runs solid. 20mpg with mixed driving. About 8lbs of boost. Great kit for daily driving, full boost at 3800rpm. Carries the tq all the way to redline. Check the post on S2ki for the Dyno. Thanks guys.

is the turbo that tiny? mannn, i couldnt even see it..
how much this kit go for? and 280hp for 12lbs of boost?
as long as your happy with the result, thats what matters..

its only at 7psi.
they're running at .5 bar.
and those are pretty sorry numbers if i do say so myself. i thought this was going to be carb legal??

if it's carb legal, i'd buy it. that's to say if it really did boost from such a low base of course. if it's all dyno queen numberfunking, then no thanks.
Greddy kits have been known to only make about 50-90 hp increase. Its not a huge turbo by any means, but again the important thing is to look at the tq curve. full boost and max tq at 3800.
and again a moded s2k that day only made 200rwhp.
That along with the use of a dyno dynamics is partially the reasons for the sub 300rwhp readings. If it makes anyone feel better i can dyno on a dynapack and make over 300rwhp, but again it not about peak power.
At this low level of boost and pricing wise you can't really compare the greddy kit to the inline or any other incomplete turbo kit. Based purely on cost, the kit is more of a competitor for the SC kits. It makes power way sooner than the SC allowing for more fun for daily use.
As for Carb, it is on its way. I know it will be carb approved its just a matter of time. trust me.

Conservative tuning. I like it, everybody else i worried about PEAK performance. But don't realize the damage they can do to there engines at a much faster pace.
It def designed for the not so smart and educated customer, that has all the knowledge to do a more serious kit, and also aimed at daily driven street cars, its a pretty conservative kit that would make the car fun to drive around town.
I didn't happen to go look at the price but from what I thought I read a long time ago its pretty good bang for the buck.
I am curious as to longevity with it, considering someone keeps it conservative at no more then 10 lbs

Dont forget this is with the stock cat which would definitely rob lots of power with the turbo. I think the kit looks pretty nice for someone looking for a fun reliable kit. I'm sure 350hp could be squeezed out of it with ease.

Im not, I knew the kit wasnt going to be the most amazing thing ever.
As long as your happy with the power thats fine. Personally I think with a better tune you can get 320rwhp.

Yea, wondering too.
I'm guessing, becuase they figure most people that have an s2000 can afford the 5k kit. Bastards
I'll still buy the kit though lol.

yeah, the only other honda kit that has an intercooler is the FG2 kit i believe.
All those other kits, DC2, DC5, EP3, etc., you had to buy the IC seperately, hence the price differences.
This kit has a Plug and play harness (~$200), Emanage Ultimate, SUS tubular manifold, Walbro Fuel pump, 550cc injectors, Front mount IC, oil relocation kit, AND a solid tune so you can get up and going out of the box.
