I'm about to do paint and body to the milano pink(if you know what i mean..hehe) EH3 i just picked up. I'm haivng a hard time deciding whether to paint the door handles also or leave it unpainted. I'm leaving the moldings black, painting the mirrors. I'm gonna throw a mugen front lip and spoon duck bill on it(both also black just to give you an idea of all the exterior black).

I would say leave em unpainted.
Goes better with the mouldings imo
Make sure the fog holes stay black.
I sold my hatch before I had the chance to turn em back to black, buggs me to this day

i am pro-color matching

including side moldings too. it just makes the car look more classy, not so "cheap"

i got a question, how do you get all inside the handle? do the come apart or you just have to try spraying up inside them?

no they don't...only the EM1's came with everything painted.EH3's came with mirrors, moldings, door handles all unpainted.

 

If you're going to do the side-moldings then you might as well do the door handles.

Yeah i'm definitely going to tell them not to paint that.

i say paint them including the side moldings its gonna look much better. but its your car your choice

em1 is 99-00 civic si. by eh3 youre talking about 92-95 civic si? mirrors and door handles come painted. the 1st picture you posted is an eh3
