i have a msd 6al bow installed on my 94 integra gsr and when i floor the gas and the rpm goes to 7000, my rpm meter would start to jump. only happen when i rev over 6000 rpm. anyone know what's wrong?

 

sounds like misfires. take the msd out and see what happens.

 

it doesn't do it with the stock disributor only. could it be the box or blaster or distributor converted to msd?

 

Hello,i had a msd box on my turbo charged integra and i had the same problem.you realy don't need it.i am pushing 350 horses on stock ignition and my friend is pushing 425 horses on stock ignition.my engine blew up because of that msd junk last year.

 

Unless you are boosted and putting alot of HP down you don't need MSD. Stock honda ignition will support 400HP and sometimes more.
Anything less and your hurting yourself.

msd cause your engine to blow? that's hard to believe.
