ive been teaching my gf how to drive stick shift. since now shes crazy about the import scene, i am teaching her in my integra.

she stalled maybe like 5x one day, and ever since that day. My car idles at 500, and seems like its losing power when im idling. Sometimes the car will shut down and i cant start it again. I would have to crank it for 30 seconds straight and the car would finally start, but it starts with a very "tired" sound.

any help?

 

Usually when cars ideal is low, the distributor is 90% of the problem.

 

if i raise the idle from the throttle body, would that fix it? or would it merely just hide the problem?
