Default Can this be fixed? front lip..

This happened to me last night as I was coming out my driveway



Basically the lip broke off the bracket and my friend said once it breaks its a wrap but I would like to think otherwise with your expertice guys thanks

yea, just drill a hole or two at the bottom and just let it wrap around under the tiny piece still on the car, then screw the tiny piece back on top so its not so obvious.

if the lip is plastic, scuff down the edge of the broken parts to remove the paint, line it back together, find a clamp or something to hold it in place and run a soldering iron down the crack to melt (vulcanize) it back together.

once this is done, take the lip off and run the soldering iron on the backside of the crack. you can use plastic bumper repair epoxy to reinforce it from the inside and also to fix the cosmetic imperfections from the soldering iron.

I agree with ^^^ that would be a better way of fixing it.That is pretty much like plastic welding it which would be your best bet.

3M double side mounting tape and some screws will do the trick.

Or get 2 part epoxy
