i have a 93 civic with a b18c1. when i stomp on the gas the whole car shakes but when i drive normal its fine. what could cause this? it has brand new axels and it feels like it comes from the driver side. and also the car always wants to go right. i know it needs to be aligned. but that shouldnt be causeing this!!! please help

 

Wheel hop is usually caused by torn motor mounts or weak motor mounts. Shaking is also a byfactor.

 

are your mounts good. as soon as you speed up does it start to shake or is it at a certain speed?

 

i had this problem a while ago...they were my motor mounts...

also people have bought torque dampeners that greatly reduced the wheel hop +

 

it only happens when i press the gas hard.and it feels like the driver side!
