Default 94 GSR ::New Project::

I'm currently deployed to Iraq and have been trying to find a project car and finally things worked out and I picked one up. It's a 94 GSR, red..some surface rust and faded paint and doesnt run but it has a clean title, and salvagable gsr swap (plan on selling). Future plans include k20-T, cage, complete color change, and jdm front to list a few.

The engine bay is beyond dirty, I know this. My uncle drove it for a few years back and forth to work. I got it for $1900, once I get back to the states I'll get the motor running, clean it up and sell the swap. Car is going to a body shop this week to have the side moldings, rear washer squirter, emblems off the hatch, holes in the trunk lid, and antenna shaved off along with all the rust fixed. I'm gonna buy 5 lug, LCA's, new bushings, FLCA's, camber kit, extended wheel studs, JDM 16" gunmetal ITR rims, lug nuts, rotors, pads, and stainless brake lines within the next week two. I'm gonna have my brother take pictures for me so I can continue to update this thread. Only bad thing is all I can do right now is buy parts.

Good luck with whatever you do.

Some advice: Get some Simple Green and hit the power washer.

I'm sure it will be worth it once I do get home, but in the meantime only seeing pictures of the goodies I acquire is gonna be rough. I'm gonna get as many pictures as I can so I can update this thread as much as possible.

I haven't posted any updates because we have been super busy lately and haven't had time to get on a computer. Honestly I'm not sure what's wrong with the motor, I've never seen the car in person and don't want to have anyone working on it or taking it apart while I'm gone. I am gonna be ordering some stuff this week and will have more pics up soon. Thanks for the comments, good and bad.
