Sup Guys. Anyways been a while since I was in here. Anyways just wnated to ask a few questions. Well okay first is what is the chass of my 91 crx hf? I know I should know this or be easy to find out. sorry BUt like when I go online looking for parts it'll say ED & EF. My vin. # say JHM...ED then the numbers but just want to make sure I get the right parts so it can fit and not parts from a hatchback civic. Which brings me to the "EF8 doors" from hmotors. Now it says this:

EF8 Complete Door Set - Black Color Come with Door panels,glass,switches,regulator $350+shipping and etc.

I know my door is manual and etc. but from what it says and if anyone has order these doors. Is this like a "complete door" from the side mirrors to inside door panels and so forth? These aren't "power window" is it? Or is it just regulator as in the handle to crank down the window regulator? well don't know how this will look but just like to know TIA.

p.s. also I remeber looking at the thread for crx specs but do my HF or do crx have horn or air bags? The horn where you beep at crazy drivers almost trying to hit your rex, versus giving them the finger and yelling inside to yourself? Maybe mine is just broken? Thanks let me know?

 

"ED" is usdms(america)
"EF" are jdm(japan)

edit and "EE" is edm i believe

 

EF8 doors are for a jdm crx. EF9 is a jdm hatch. The doors you are looking at have power windows. No your car doesn't have air bags.The usdm crx is a ed and the jdm is a ef. Everything will fit from a ef8 to a ed.

 

Oh okay cool! Thanks guys. See it's kinda confusing and different. I also own a 95 coupe and parts for it is a lot easier IMO because hatch and coupe share same front ends and etc. BUt when I got the rex it was like "woo" what is what! EF this ED that etc etc. just got lost. Also with "EF" being japan and "ED" being USDM parts don't fit like OEM or whatver if I want just the front bumper from the "ef". So now I understand and think I know now thanks!

"Everything will fit from a ef8 to a ed" This part I was told I couldn't because of the crx in japan having different size front end and etc. Everything else I think I understand if not this is HT Anyway so I take it if I order it( the door) I can put it on it will fit because it's no front end. But it does have power window? Thanks Anything else I should know let me know

P.S. is there a thread that tells you what chass is what on Hondas like what you guys just explain? I usually look around in threads first but haven't seen any that tell one like me if "ef" means Japan and "ed" means usdm version let me know also...

 

Be careful when you order the door, remember that EF's are RHD and your probably from america so you are LHD. Meaning that the power window mechanism is going to be on the wrong side lol.

 

plus on a 91 your seat belts are on the door, jdm is on the pillar

and ef is the 88-91 civic/crx line up in japan

 

oh **** fogot about that too! Guess I'll have to ask or make sure first from the site before I order. I know passwordjdm has couple sets too but too much hmotors only asking $350 password I think is $450? But thanks guys forgot about that!
