Default Trimming Bump Stops.

When I lowered my car some shop said that they could trim my bump stops to lower it more. Anyone have any information about this? Can I do this myself and how much more could the car be lowered?

that wouldnt lower you car more unless you are resting on them, bump stops are there to keep your shock from fully compressing and blowing out. i cut mine in half when i lowered my car just so i wouldnt hit them on every little bump.

im currently lowering my car and im pretty sure its a must to cut your bumps in half, they're rubber its easy, otherwise the car will hit them every bump you hit
