i haven't used my car in a while and the battery died. after changing the battery the radio is asking for a code.

every code is different. you can either call acura with the radio serial number found on the radio itself and your vin (to make sure its not a stolen radio) and hope they give you the code, or drive down to an acura stealership and have them do it for you. they shouldn't charge you for doing it. if they do try to charge you, go to another stealership.

 

Just like said before each car is diff.
In my area, they make your drive the car to them with the title before they give you the code to make sure its not stolen...
