Default Where to go for tire replacement?

Anyone have any recommendations on where to go to replace my stock tires with stock tires again? Is Costco a good option? How about Big O tires? I'm looking for the best value place.....again I'm not looking for high performance. Just economy and longevity. Thanks

Also any recommendations on who will do alignments inexpensively? Any chain auto places that are dependable? I live in Southern California.

And lastly, how much should an alignment cost?

Shop around.

Also be aware that you can often get much better deals by buying tires over the internet from places like the Tire Rack (our forum's sponsor), Discount Tire, etc. You can then get them mounted at any mechanic or tire shop in your area (Wal-Mart often has good prices for mounting/balancing and doesn't mind mounting tires that weren't purchased there).
