Help, I am helping my son with his 92 civic hatchback from stock engine and trans to a b18b also with an automatic. there are 2 connections on the acura trans that the honda does not have. WILL this work? or do i need a different trans

 

What year is the motor and tranny? Did you get the matching harness and ECU? If it's the same generation you only have to change around a couple wires.

 

the engine and trans came out of a 94 integra ls. did not get the ecu or wiring harness. i looked it up and what i found was that that integra trans needs a trans computer i think dont know for sure. 1st time doing anything like this... they are both obd 1 i was told.

 

as far as the connections im not sure. But you will need an ECU to run the tranny, And another ECU to run the motor.

 

does anybody know if there is another automatic trans that will bolt up and that does not need the trans ecu? bi8b engine 94 integra. car is a 92 hatchback.
